In October 2010 the MMAA purchased the wall piece BLACK ARCH, with funds generously given by John and Ruth Huss, and added it to the Museum's PERMANENT COLLECTION. BLACK ARCH was featured in the MMAA's exhibition in CERAMICS THEN/CERAMICS NOW in 2010 at the St. Paul Academy. Visit Website

Ceramics from the Weisman Art Museum Collection - A Personal View, is on view until October 2013. For the first time WAM has devoted an entire gallery to its ceramic collection with an opening exhibit curated by director Lyndel King and internationally respected potter Warren MacKenzie. Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento CA
THE VASE AND BEYOND: In 2010 ceramic connoisseur Sidney Swidler gave his encyclopedic collection of 20th-century ceramics, comprised of nearly 800 selections by more than 300 artists to the Crocker Art Museum.
